Dorothy Bobian was born December 25, 1927 and went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe M. Bobian, her daughter, Patricia Mae Martinez, grandchildren, Ricky and Jaime Bobian.
She was the mother of Louise Trujillo, Roy Bobian, Fred (Lucy) Bobian, MaryAnn (Geno) Trujillo, Rita (Tony Cordova) Bobian, Helen (Quino Montez) Bobian, Steve (Gina) Bobian, Bernard Bobian, Michael (Cindy) Bobian, James King, and is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Dorothy gave birth to 12 children, her greatest joy was her children, especially her five sons.
When she wasn’t busy raising her family she loved the many years she worked at the Walsenburg Care Center. Everyone was welcome to her home and her table.
She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 2 until 4 pm Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Boies-Ortega Funeral Home. Services from St. Mary Catholic Church include a Rosary at 6 pm Thursday, Oct. 27 and Funeral Mass at 10 am Friday, October 28.
Burial will be at South St. Mary Cemetery in Walsenburg and services are being handled by Boies-Ortega Funeral Home of Walsenburg.
