Della Ida Pino, 92, was born June 22, 1916 and entered into Rest May 3, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix “Honey” and two sons: Claude Pino I and Everett Pino. She is survived by her sons and daughters: Jake (Sandy) Pino, Estella (Tom) Montez, Claude (Rosie) Pino, Loretta (Charles) Montoya, Dolores (Brad) Smith, Patricia (Ernest) Tapia and Clayton (Linda) Pino; her stepchildren: Arley (Pat) Pino and Della Garcia of California. She is also survived by six generations of grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was an amazingly beautiful and extraordinary woman, who married Dad when she was 16 years old and he was 42. They lived and raised nine children on a small farm in Morning Glory, west of Walsenburg. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Services will be 10 am on Friday, May 8, 2009 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 121 E. 7th St., Walsenburg, CO. Burial will be at North St. Mary Cemetery, with r eception to follow at Eagles Hall, 612 Main St., Walsenburg. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Boies-Ortega.
