Delia Genevieve Valdez 10-26-1931 ~ 3-10-2015 Delia Genevieve Valdez, 83, entered into rest Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at home in Pueblo, Colorado, surrounded by her loving family. Delia’s life exemplified the love of God and her unconditional love for all. Delia was born on October 26, 1931 in Walsenburg, Colorado to Adonais and Rosarito Vigil. Delia is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Gilbert Valdez Sr.; her children, Lorraine, Arlene (Mac) Medina, and Lucas (Maxine) Valdez; sisters, Bertha and Marie; her brothers, Timothy, Joe, Dave, Amos, Ezekiel, Clovis, Fructoso, Joseph, Daniel and Eli. Delia is survived by her children, Delores (John) Chavez, Gilbert (Lorrena) Valdez, Jr., Shirley Valdez, Patsy (Fernando) Marin, Kathy (David) Bobian, Rosalie Valdez; sisters, Elizabeth (Charles) Coco, Esther Serrano; brother, Adonais Vigil Jr.; numerous grandchildren, great grand children and extended family.
