Bill was born May 13, 1938 in Chicago, IL, to the union of Viola and Alexander Petlock. He went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2008, in Pueblo after a long courageous battle with cancer. Bill was preceded in death by both parents, a sister Patricia Celmer and brother Neil Petlock. He is survived by his loving wife Glynda and daughter Andrea Petlock Novak (Alex); step-children Robert Mullins (Susan), Ronald Mullins and Patty Cummings (Doug); step-grandchildren Ronnie, Brent, Bobby, Christopher, Patrick and Haley Mullins, Brandon and Tanner Mork, Nikki Larkin and Kriston Marler (Barrett); step-great grandchildren Lilly, Tate and Adeline Marler and Ronald Wayne Mullins III.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1961 to 1966. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and hiking in the mountains. He was an accomplished artist, who loved painting horses and Indians in oils.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 10:30 am, at Christ the King Catholic Church in La Veta, CO. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
