Beth Ann Neece, 50, was born August 6, 1962 in Maryville, MO.
She graduated from Littleton High School, then graduated from UNC in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science. While there, she was a sister of Alpha Phi Sorority.
Beth was employed with the City of Walsenburg as Acting Administrator, and was currently working on her Masters in Public Administration as part of the best and brightest program.
She passed away October 4, 2012, in Aurora, CO. A small family memorial was held celebrating her life on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012.
She is survived by her parents Bill and Betty Milton of Littleton, CO., husband David Neece of Walsenburg, CO., six children Christi, Charlie, Karena, Jennie, Betty, and Natalie, brother Rich, sister Becky, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, dogs and cats. She was preceded in death by her husband Rick Sims.
Her life was always bright and brilliant. She was a lover of all animals, the culture she found in Southern Colorado, ranching, and serving the community/schools; which ended too soon after a long battle with melanoma cancer.
