Audrey May Nauerth, 80, of La Veta, Colorado, passed away March 27, 2009, in Pueblo. She is survived by her daughter, Geanine (Mark) Ballard of Tucson, Ariz.; step-grandchildren, Matthew and Holly Ballard; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Nauerth; parents, George and Lydia Kimbrel; four brothers; and three sisters.
Audrey was born May 1, 1928, at the Orchard Valley homestead in Delcarbon, Colorado. She was a member of the Spanish Peaks Catholic community and Territorial Daughters. At her request, there will be no viewing. Burial in the La Veta Cemetery will take place at a later date.
