She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many friends and extended family. Susie was kind, vibrant, giving, and talented beyond measure; a beautiful soul and the life of the party. She was blessed with many creative outlets, including stained glass, sewing the world’s “YUMMIEST” blankets and designing one-of-a-kind “ash bags”(Alfreda Sue Hudson). Those who received her gifts

will cherish them forever because of the comfort and smiles they bring and the memory of the love, time, and energy she put into making each one as unique as she was. Susie will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Those who were fortunate enough to have met her will be forever changed. There will be a Celebration of Life at 11 am on March 26, 2016 at United Methodist Church, 108 Kansas Avenue, at the corner of Main and Kansas, in Walsenburg.
