DINING IN STYLE The annual Noah’s Ark Animal Welfare Association Peacock Ball at St. Joseph’s Hall in Trinidad on Saturday was a sold-out success with proceeds benefiting the life saving efforts of the organization to help needy cats and dogs in Las Animas County. A cash bar sponsored by the Kiwanis Club and silent auction were also part of the fundraiser. The dinner, catered by Alys Romer of La Veta included a smoked salmon appetizers.
