HUERFANO– San Isabel Electric Association, Inc. has announced there will be no rate increase in 2010. SIEA employees worked to streamline operations and gain greater efficiencies to maintain current rates. Another key was the decision by Tri-State Generation and Transmission to hold wholesale power cost steady.
“At San Isabel Electric, the phrase ‘We have the power’ isn’t just a slogan. It is truly how our organization functions. We are locally owned by the members we serve. Our board members are elected, representing the communities where they live. So rates and service integrity are very important.” said General Manger Reg Rudolph.
