WALSENBURG- Mark Adams, 48, will be moving to Walsenburg as part of his new job as Deputy District Attorney for Huerfano County.
Adams, who was officially sworn in on Tuesday, met with the Huerfano County Commissioners Wednesday morning to introduce himself.
Adams is a 1990 graduate of the University of Colorado Law School. Prior to that, he graduated with a master of English Literature from the University of Virginia in 1984, and a Bachelor in English from the University of Denver in 1982.
Adams was the District Attorney for the 13th Judicial District from 1996 to 2004, when he was term-limited out. He has also been the Deputy District Attorney for Montrose and La Junta.
