Marshal reports on tagging, fire and deer

After accepting the resignation of Nicole Copel from the Historic Preservation Committee, the Board expressed its thanks to her for serving five years. Davis read a letter from Janey Waldrep indicating her interest in serving on the HPC, and the Board appointed her to the vacancy. In reply to a question about advertising for committee members, Mary Jean Fowler said, “We posted two different times this winter and didn’t get any interest.” Copel lives in the historic district, and Mrs. Fowler said the Committee had a pressing need to replace her with someone who also lives in the historic district, as Waldrep does.
The Board approved a stipulation which removes the Town as an objector in water case 06CW124 involving the Snowy Range Reservoir. The objections have been negotiated and it has been determined that the Town’s concerns in the case, particularly augmentation, have been satisfied.
