Lorenzo Trujillo Advances- By David Tesitor
Denver CO., Pepsi Center-The lone John Mall Panther to advance into the championship rounds was Lorenzo Trujillo, in the heavyweight division. Trujillo defeated David Plute of Lyons by pin fall in 4:11seconds. Trujillo trailed by a score of 4-1 going into the last period after the Lyons big man scored points on a take down and two escapes. Trujillo manages to stay on his feet until he had a surge of energy which put Plute on his back. He was able to turn him over and secure the pin. If Lorenzo secures a victory tomorrow against his opponent, he would be in the semi finals and face either the number two or three wrestler in the state.
