WALSENBURG — Local Walsenburg student Alexus Booth has been selected to become a member of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), a prestigious national organization that recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship, and community commitment.
NSHSS members automatically become lifetime members at the time of their initial membership. The organization works with scholars along each step of the way from high school to college and on to a career to connect them with resources to develop their strengths and pursue their passions.
