Steve Kimbrel won on a major decision, by completely annihilating his helpless opponent Ethan Pearson of Ignacio, 19-4. He will meet Eric Martinez of Center for the
Championship. Ortivez needed to take his opponent the distance and defeated, Chance Cooley of Sargent 4-0. Nick Northup will be in his first Regional championship match tonight and face Able Velasquez of Ignacio. The two have never met. Nick defeated Ryan Mangum to earn his spot in the finals. Nick had previously defeated Mangum on three previous occasions.
