WALSENBURG- The second grade classes at Peakview School are happy to share their recipes for Thanksgiving turkeys with our county residents. Enjoy them, and have a great Thanksgiving!
How to cook a turkey. First, go buy the turkey at Safeway. Next heat it up in the oven to thaw it out. Next we take out the heart. Next cook it in the oven, it should be about 76 degrees for 6 minuts thats what I think. Take it out of the oven, cut it up. Finlly you cold eat it.

Then put a can in the turkey. Then put a pinch of seasoning on the turkey. Then put the turkey in the oven at 89 degrees for 2 hours. When its done we take the can out of the turkey. Then we cut it up and then we eat it.

Then we open the oven and put 1 table spoon of garlic salt and 1 pinch of pepper and 1 pinch of salt. Then we close the oven and let it cook. Then take it out and eat it. Oh yeah it costed $20.00
