Further election results

WALSENBURG- Here are the results for the Walsenburg City Council, ward by ward. The top two vote-getters for each ward will be seated in January.  The one with the most votes this year will go on to serve a four-year term.

    For Ward 1, James Moore, 136 votes; Silvana Lind, 132 votes.

    For Ward 2, James England, who ran unopposed, 111 votes.

    For Ward 3, Erin Jerant, 120 votes, David Mockmore, 92 votes.

    For Ward 4, there were four contestants for the two council seats. Craig Lessar, 200 votes; Nick Vigil, 149 votes; Edie Flanagin, 78 votes; Susan Blake, 59 votes.

    For Re-1 School Board, District F, Elisha Meadows decisively beat incumbent Jesse Jackson, 1,128 to 394.  In District D, Sandi Dotter also defeated incumbent Robert Duran, 954 to 658.

    For Re-2 School Board, the top three vote-getters will be seated in January.  Sabrina Kreutzer, 390 votes; Cindy Campbell, 377 votes; Annalee Hickey, 349 votes; and A.R. Miller, 327 votes.
