LAS ANIMAS and HUERFANO- The Spanish Peaks Board of Realtors is proud to announce the winners of the first annual Faye McDonald Memorial Scholarship program. $1000 scholarships were awarded to deserving high school seniors from five local high schools.

The Spanish Peak Board of Realtors represents all of Las Animas and Huerfano Counties. They will continue to support local high schools annually with similar scholarships in order to give back to the communities. Next year they hope to include Kim and Branson high schools. In addition, they encourage students from Primero to apply next year, as none applied this year.
