Coaches Cathy Cordova and Kevin Crosson have high expectations for the basketball team for the 2008-2009 season. Cathy Cordova prepares the team before games and helps Crosson keep his papers in order so he doesn’t lose them. Crosson gets us ready for the upcoming games. This year’s team has grown with experience. The whole school is absolutely thrilled about the start of the basketball season. The boy’s team is much bigger than in the previous years. Hopefully the older people on the team have worked on their skills over the off season. The coaches hope to have a 12 to 15 game season this year.
Pam’s 3rd/4th grade classes completed a Native American unit focused on regions and the natural resources available. They learned how the resources influenced their lifestyles. Each child built a village, wrote a report and groups preformed stories from each of the five regions.
