Falcon Flash for Dec. 11 2008

By Leah Frye

and Ashton Rinker

The winter program at Gardner School will be held on December 17, at 7:00 P.M. All of the classes will have great acts to entertain you. Here’s a line up of our acts:

Jody Medina, Morgan Alber, and their pre-school and kindergarten students are singing and doing “The Chicken Dance”. Abby and Izzy Sharp are tap dancing.

Cathy Cordova’s first and second grades are doing a Charlie Brown skit about baseball and they are singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”.

Pam Levie’s third and fourth grade classes have several different acts, including a hula hoop routine, songs on the recorder, and singing and playing music.

Liz Schneider’s fifth and sixth grade are doing a play about a talent show called “It Takes Talent”.

Kevin Crosson and the seventh grade girls are choosing two of the following songs: “There’s a Light That Never Goes Out” by The Smiths, “I’ll Follow You into the Dark” by Death Cab For Cutie, and “Mad World” by Tears For Fears. The boys (Frank Pizzo and Dakota Blair) are doing a comedy skit.

Brent Davis and the eighth grade are doing a choral reading about a basketball game, and Sabrina O’ Neal and Ashton Rinker are singing a song in memory of the veterans that have died and those in war right now.

There will be some songs sung by the whole Gardner School.

We look forward to a great show. Please be sure and attend!
