WALSENBURG — The Walsenburg Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 1187 recently held a fundraiser to help support families struggling with school supplies this year. They were able to present Peakview principal Meghan Archuleta with a pile of school supplies including backpacks, notebooks, and markers, and a $700 check to go towards more supplies. Archuleta explained that the items will be stored in a supply room and handed out as needed, including to high school students should their families need assistance.
