Denver, CO 4:45pm.-John Mall′s Alex Sample, 140 pounds lost his opening round to Lane Crumley of Akron by pin fall in 1:37.  La Veta′s Stephen Kimbrel was pinned at 5:27 and Ron Ortivez of La Veta lost in a last second decision when Brennen Hottinger of Akron scored 3 points off a near-pin as time roun out scoring 3 points and the 9-8 win.
