WALSENBURG — Pilots with instrument flight reading capabilities are now able to use the airport at Walsenburg. Instructions and equipment now allow for safe landings in inclement weather if the pilots are trained to do so. Most pilots do not have the certification and rely on safer weather conditions for flying.
