Cory Morin entertained a small but enthusiastic audience this past Saturday night at Francisco Crossing in La Veta. Morin is a Sioux fingerstyle guitarist from Montana, now residing near Ft. Collins. He is described as, “one of the best acoustic pickers on the scene today,” by Richard Higgs (Public Radio Tulsa). Morin was just completing a tour of Colorado and leaving for Europe for a summer tour there. In addition to his solo pursuits, Cary Morin performs with Young Ancients, a collaboration with John Magnie and Steve Amedée of The Subdudes. Photo by Bob Kennemer.
