Journeyman Lineman – Location: La Veta, CO. San Isabel Electric Association has an opening for an experienced Journeyman Lineman to join our team. This position preforms all duties of the lineman classification that involves overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems. A strong commitment to working safely, providing quality member service, creating member satisfaction and working productively are a must in this position. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent must presently hold a Journeyman Lineman Certificate. Proof of successful completion of a recognized Lineman Apprenticeship required. Must meet driver qualifications, including the possession of a valid class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Requires participation in after-hour emergency call-outs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to successfully work with members on a wide range of concerns. Must be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude. Demonstrate commitment to work productively and safely. Must live within 30 miles of the service center in La Veta, Colorado.
