Charles (Chuck) Martinez, Sr

Charles (Chuck) Martinez, Sr., 74 of Walsenburg, went to be with our Lord on January 24, 2018 in Pueblo, CO.
Born on October 5, 1943, Chuck is survived by his sons, Rod (David) Whiteker-Martinez, Charles Martinez, Jr. (Rebecca Villalon) and Brian (Michelle Vigil) Martinez; as well as granddaughters, Samantha, Scottlyn, and Faith Martinez, also Maria and Selena Miller.
He is survived by his mother, Cora Quintana; sisters, Sylvia Martinez, Evelyn Martinez (Robert Maldonado), Margaret McGrath; sister-in laws Rose Quintana, Elizabeth (Blondie) Vigil, Mary Inez Chavez, Mary Ann Boyer-Pedraza and Genevieve Boyer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Susan; father Henry Quintana; brother Lawrence (Billy) Quintana; mother and father-in-law, Earl and Zella Boyer; brothers in law Dennis McGrath, Robert (Bob) (Della) Boyer, William (Bill) Boyer, Jim (Milly) Boyer, and Pete Pedraza; sisters-in-law; Stella Cates, Mary Lou Mestas, and Ruth (Toots) (Jim) Vigil.
Chuck was a Vietnam Navy veteran. He worked at CF&I Steel for 20 years and Huerfano County Sheriff and other law enforcement in Huerfano County for 28 years.
Chuck will be missed by all of his family and many friends. Per his request; cremation and no services.
