HUERFANO — There were a total of 148 attendees from 11 precincts at the Tuesday Mar. 6 Democratic caucuses in Huerfano County. Many platform resolutions were introduced and discussed and many were passed to the County Democratic Platform Committee for presentation to the delegates at the County Assembly to be held on March 31, 2012 at 10:00am at the Huerfano County Community Center in Walsenburg. Committee people were elected from almost every precinct. All the attendees exhibited a very strong commitment to preserving our wonderful Huerfano County way of life in the face of undeniable change. There was a strong commitment to winning all the State and local races and there was a very active interest in the upcoming County Commissioner and D.A. races.
