Broncos Come to Walsenburg

Walsenburg- Several hundred fans donned their orange and blue attire to welcome the Broncos to town. It was part of their Country Flag Campaign and goodwill tour. Walsenburg was chosen as a host rural city which supports their favorite team. The city was presented with a flag to display while citizens signed a flag which will be flown over Invesco Field during one of the Bronco home games. A video was shot of the event which will be played on the jumbo screen during an upcoming halftime show. Miles the mascot as well some of the Cheerleaders were present to sign autographs as well as Bronco Ring of Fame Defensive Back Billy Thompson. Festivities included a punt and kick event, giveaways, including tickets to the Broncos and showing off both Broncos Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophies. The Broncos put on a 90 minute show to the delight of those present. The goodwill tour was the Broncos was of thanking all fans for their support.
