Change is coming

WALSENBURG- The Huerfano County Democratic Party and the "Colorado Campaign for Change" are sponsoring a "Change is Coming" Meeting to be held in Walsenburg on Sun. Dec. 14 at 2 pm at the Huerfano County Community Center.  As part of the creation of a new national agenda the Obama Transition Team is actively seeking input from our community about the problems we face and any ideas for possible solutions.

This is what we wanted, what we worked so hard for; a government that listens, that cares what we think, what we need.  Whatever your concerns are, health care, education, the economy, war, environment, water, energy, we need your voice.    This new Administration needs ideas from farmers and ranchers, businessmen and retirees, newcomers and natives. liberals and conservatives, local or global.  Bring your friends, even "non-political" or non-Democrat friends.  Bring written proposals if you wish.  Let′s seize the opportunity! Please join us.

The event is open to members of the Trinidad Italian Club and the general public too. You do not have to be of Italian ancestry to participate in club events or to become a member of the club.  For more information, contact Paula Manini at the museum at 719-846-7217.
