La Veta- First year Redskins volleyball coach Bree Lessar has been named Coach of the Year by the Southern Peaks League. Shea Brgoch and Jo Beth Willhoite made the Southern Peaks League All Conference team. Shelby Morgan and Emily Moll also qualified for the second team all conference team.
The Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports (CGOS) also named Brgoch to the All State team. Only 18 seniors from the 2A class were chosen from among all the athletes in the state. This game will be played at Broomfield High School on Nov. 16 at 11:30 am. The Colorado High School Coaches Association (CHSCA) also named Brgoch as one of only ten seniors from the 2A ranks.
