WALSENBURG- We are minutes away from the preliminary wrestling action here at John Mall High School where wrestlers from 17 teams from the region will compete for a chance to advance to the State tourney in Denver this Thursday. There are 6 preliminary bouts before the quarter final rounds begin. what has already been determined is Jacob Tenorio of JMHS will advance to the state tournament. His placement will be determined. Tenorio wrestles at 103 and there are only four wrestlers in the class.
