There were attendees came in from eighteen different states, Colorado, then Minnesota, Kansas, Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming, Virginia, Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, New Mexico, California, Washington, New York, Florida,Montana, Mississippi and Texas.

After the terrific barbeque dinner, organizer Paulette Laster Stuart gave a brief talk about how many years, (1935 through 1987) were represented in the auditorium, and had each class stand up and take a bow.  After that, the event turned into one giant party with people talking, laughing and dancing ‘til the wee hours.

Many of the individual class years had portraits taken, which we have started to run here. Unless noted otherwise, the photos are the combined classes from both St. Mary’s and Walsenburg/ Huerfano County High School.   So many classes were present however, that we will need to continue running them in next week’s paper as well, so be sure to pick next week’s copy of the Huerfano Journal to see EVERYBODY.!
