DENVER 11:59 am-Adam Ortivez will advance to the next round and will wrestle Michael Smithey of Rocky Ford. Smithey′s grandfather, Chuck, is the former vice principal from John Mall High School which gives this match an unusual local connection. Ortivez also was a part of state tournament history in his last match which he won 15-0 over Chris Sicocum of Crowley County.
