Sangre de Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care TLAC Chamber of Commerce hosts relocation ribbon cutting

Sangre de Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care was honored with a ribbon cutting hosted by the TLAC Chamber of Commerce on March 12 to celebrate moving to their new location, 1502 E. Main Street. TRINIDAD — Sangre de Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care celebrated the grand opening of moving into their new office location, 1502 E. Main Street, in Trinidad, with a relocation ribbon cutting by the Trinidad & Las Animas County Chamber of Commerce.  This non-profit organization specializes in end of life care for patients and their families.  Their philosophy centers around respect and dignity for each patient.  They recognize the uniqueness of everyone they serve, and provide them with the Sangre de Cristo Hospice and Palliative Care was founded in 1985 and is a local CHAP accredited, non-profit healthcare agency, providing comprehensive and compassionate care to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay.  They work together with primary care physicians, caregivers, and the patient to develop a care plan that focuses on pain and symptom management.  They offer a myriad of services including in-home hospice and palliative care, social work services, chaplain services, grief counseling, caregiver support, and volunteer support.  For more information call 719-846-3060 or go to www.socohospice.org.
